Indoor Gunshot Localization & Sound Propagation

In Progress

Florida Institute of Technology

Expected: August 2026

M.S. thesis investigating acoustic localization of gunshot events in indoor environments. Combines wave-based sound propagation modeling with signal processing to determine source position and directivity within constrained room geometries using the Image Source Method (ISM).
